Toddyi from the terminal
toddyi is one small program for your tasks: list, create, finish and change them from a shell, a script or an AI agent, with the same account as the app.
Install
Download the file for your system from the GitHub releases page and put it on your PATH — or, with Go 1.24 or later:
go install github.com/toddyi-app/toddyi-cli/cmd/toddyi@latest
Sign in
login shows a code and opens a page in your browser where you approve it, second factor included. The CLI never sees your password, and every signed-in terminal can be revoked at /cli/tokens.
toddyi login
toddyi whoami
toddyi logout
Use it
Add --json to any command for output a script can read.
toddyi create task "Write the report" --due tomorrow --folder Work --priority high
toddyi tasks --due today
toddyi tasks --due today --ids | toddyi done
toddyi --json tasks --due overdue
With an AI agent
toddyi mcp makes your tasks available to any MCP client, such as Claude Code:
claude mcp add toddyi -- toddyi mcp
